INTROAVENHAM

First Ride of the month, local and brief, suitable for novice riders and their adults! It’s also RVJ Annual General Meeting at 12:30.We intend that the ride will allow time for some skill based games in the school playground before the brief meeting.
The route is simple-North and features the Ribble joint use cycleway. West along this cycleway to loop back Southwards to the historic Tramway and back to base. Almost all on traffic free cycleway.
Note the mapped route along the Ribble is shortened in practice to cross the river at Avenham Park and avoid current riverbank closures.
