Iron horse

A circular route around the outskirts of rural Doncaster . Spectacular views on mainly road around some lovely quaint villages. A must visit lovely out of the way cafe in a lovely setting. Some lovely roads going through villages over canals and river and towpath cycle routes.

Setting off from ten pin heading out navigating around the city on new cycle path infrastructure. Joining the Doncaster greenway and TPT towards Bentley former pit site a beautiful route . We then head towards the village of moss taking in some lovely countryside going thru woodland areas and quite country lanes . On our return journey we take in some lovely sites through some beautiful countryside passing over canals and rivers train lines etc. and riding along the canal at Barnby Dunn heading back to our start point at ten pin taking in villages and woodland paths trails etc racecourse views etc.

TPT trails woodland trails and quiet country lanes , cycle infrastructure around the city , canal towpaths.

We will be stopping at the Iron Horse cafe in the village of Moss .

Helmets are advisable for this ride , please bring spares and tools to repair a puncture etc , cash and card for purchases at the cafe. Bike locks .
