Starting from - We start at the entrance to Kenton Recreation Ground on Kenmore Ave - see photo. HA3 8LU.

Avoid going through Kenton Recreation Ground as the fab junior parkrun takes place at 9am. If you have to go through the Ground, then perhaps walk through, waving the young runners. HA3 8LU

Starting point

HA1 2RB

This route takes us from Kenton Recreation Ground into Brent where we follow parks & quiet streets through Belmont trail, Montrose Park to Kingsbury. It’s not a ride for absolute beginners but if you are a confident rider and perhaps have ridden in a group before, you’ll be fine.

We are a friendly group and no one is left behind.

Check your bike before the ride, paying particular attention to the brakes and tyres. Use this guide: https://lcc.org.uk/advice/bike-safety-check/. Bring a spare innertube, a pump and tools to fix a puncture.

The time for the ride is a best estimate by the Ride Leader. Sometimes it can be affected by factors such as the weather, mechanical issues, the queue at the cafe, etc. We have a policy of leaving no rider behind so, if anyone is struggling, we will adjust the speed and take rest stops if necessary.
