Starting from - Hailey Park car park at the end of Radyr Road, Llandaff North, no toilets, close to Llandaff station.
We'll leave at 10.00, so please arrive 10 minutes early so we can do bike checks :)

We start in Hailey Park carpark on the Taff Trail. We will cross to East of Cardiff through Whitchurch, Heath and Cyncoed to Pontprennau and the new estate up to Old St Mellons. On quiet country lanes we will drop down to Michaelston y Fedw. Then continue cycle route 4 to Draethen and Machen and then onto Bedwas. Where we will stop for refreshments. Then we get to Caerphilly. Pass around the castle and then join the Taff Trail towards Tongwynlais and back to Llandaff North in Cardiff.
We will be on the Taff Trail, suburban roads, busier roads through Caerphilly and quiet narrow country lanes. This ride would be suitable for all types of bikes.
We’ll be stopping in a cafe in Bedwas for lunch.
Please wear a helmet and bring some money for refreshments at the café.
