This ride forms part of the Ride through Winter Campaign; Winter Miles bring Summer Smiles; ride four times through winter months and you will receive a gift kindly sponsored by Cycle surgeon Bromley Cross.

The Guild Wheel is a circular route around the districts of Preston.
We will cycle by the Brockhole nature reserve and along the riverside paths of the Ribble; passing through Avenham Park and onto Docklands.
The route is varied and almost traffic free. There are some undulations along the route but these we will tackle together.
We plan to stop for lunch at Broughton, at the Toll Bar cafe. This venue is 16 miles into the ride so you may wish to bring along a snack and a drink to sustain you along the way. Also some method of payment for the cafe.
Please ensure you have repair puncture equipment with you; tyre levers, spare inner tubes (2) and a pump.
We never leave anyone behind.
