Starting point

Flintshire
CH5 4DP

This ride will be weather dependent, I will cancel if it looks like it will be too windy or rainy (snow and ice will also cancel it). Please arrive 15 mins before our ride so we can carry out bike checks etc.

This ride is suitable for all but the pace will be that of the slowest and is designed for those starting their cycling journey or returning to cycling and want traffic free.
We will be on traffic free paths and any roads will be very quiet and gentle.

This week we will be riding approximately 12 Miles on the pace of the slowest rider so that it will hopefully encourage those who have not signed up before to come and try. No speed is too slow, and this is NOT designed for the faster riders!

Please park considerately and the car park (opposite Yvonne's Cafe - there is additional free parking further along the road). Please note that there is a height barrier.

The Coffee stop is optional and this week we will be stopping in the middle of the ride at Nets Cafe.
The route will take us across Hawarden Bridge, and on towards Wirral Way, we do cycle on some pavements on Deeside Industrial Estate but will take this slowly. There are also some boards to cross and cattle grids, again these will be discussed and walked if necessary as we are building up to all the new elements of cycling.

WHAT TO BRING:
- A bike in good working order. This can be a road bike, mountain bike, a hybrid, a gravel bike or even an e-bike
