Starting point

London
NW10 3UN

A steady ride to central London parks all the way to Battersea Park through main and back roads and some segregated cycling paths. This is a steady paced ride where we have to navigate a few busy roads (like crossing Chelsea and Albert Bridges) so you need to be confident in traffic.

We head off to Wormwood Scrubs then quiet roads until Holland Park where we need to dismount to cross the park. We carry on to Kensington Gardens and navigate South Kensington roads towards Battersea Park using Albert Bridge. We will have a coffee break here, at the Pear Tree Cafe.

We move on using Chelsea Bridge towards Buckingham Palace, and cycle between St James's and Green Parks towards Hyde Park and Regent's Park before we head back to Roundwood Park.

IMPORTANT POINTS: Helmets aren't compulsory but highly advisable. Make sure that your tyres are pumped and you have a spare inner tube and all necessary tools in case of a puncture. Places are limited and sometimes get booked up, normally with a waiting list. If you develop Covid-19 symptoms or have been told to self-isolate, or can't make it for any other reason, please cancel your space so someone else can join. Only riders who booked themselves on the ride will be allowed to join. Unless the weather takes a nasty turn making it unsafe or unpleasant to cycle, this ride will go ahead even if it rains. Dress for the weather and bring a rain coat just in case.
