Long Meander in the West

A scenic ride through the back lanes of West Lancashire From Burscough to Longton. A variety of choice for coffee and cake or a meal at either the local bakery, cafe or hostelry. A further stop for ice cream is also recommended. Return via Croston and Rufford to the start point We'll ride at a steady pace of 10 - 12 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together. Remember, this is not a race, but a leisurely ride at a pace to suit the slowest in the group! Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, Helmet & lights checked & ready. Please arrive at least 15 mins before the ride start time, So that we are able to get away at the stated start time
