(0) ReviewsWelcome to the Heaton Park Loop! This is a friendly, guided group ride, which means it is absolutely not a paced event. We ride together, we chat together, and we wait for everyone. If you're looking to smash some personal bests, this isn't the ride for that—but if you want a lovely pedal, great company, and a cracking café stop, you are in the right place! We’ll start the day nice and easy. The first hour of the ride is pretty gentle, rolling along between 25 and 45 metres of elevation. It's the perfect time to get your legs moving, say hello to the people riding next to you, and settle into the group. The "Earn Your Cake" Climb As we head north towards Heaton Park, the road starts to tip upwards. We will tackle a steady, gradual climb that takes us up to the highest point of the route at about 104 metres. Take your time, use those easy gears, and remember: we all regroup at the top! The Heaton Park Café Stop
Most of the ride is traffic free on paved tarmac suitable for mountain, gravel and hybrid bikes. There will be a few short sections on the road.
