Starting from - The event starts and finishes at the Croft Sports Centre. No participant parking is allowed here as the car park is well used by other users of the sports centre. We have however arranged free car parking nearby in the Intel Car Park. Please follow direction from our Swindon Sea Cadet Marshalls. You can then ride back to the event HQ where you can sign on, relax, have a tea and browse the routes prior to being started by the Mayor of Swindon at 10 O'clock. The first few miles are under police escort so please do not overtake them!!! !, SN3 1RA

This is a Charity Bike Ride in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support organised by a British Cycling Ride Leader. Please register for this ride at www.castlesbikeride.co.uk. The Annual Macmillan Castles Bike Sunday 4th June 2017 Mountain Bikes Only The Annual Macmillan Castles Bike Sunday 4th June 2017. The Castles Bike Ride is a fun and challenging bike ride designed for individuals, families and groups to get out in the countryside, enjoy some quality bike riding and raise a few pounds for a very worthy cause. The event is sponsored by Mitchell Cycles who are offering a prize of a bike to the person who raised the most money. Last year the prize went to Kathy Jones The event starts and finishes at Croft Sports Centre, Marlborough Lane, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN3 1RA. The event offers a choice of a 10 mile, 20 Mile or 32 Mile multi-terrain route comprised of quiet roads, bridleways and off road cycle tracks. The longest route incorporates some challenging hills and terrain for experienced mountain bikers. This year for the first time we are also offering a 26 mile challenging road bike ride which will test you on one of Swindon’s toughest climbs, the legendary Snap Hill from Ogbourne St George to Aldbourne. Get this out of the way and you’ve 15 miles of great riding to bring you back to the event centre. The map shows the long route, the 10 and 20 mile routes are shorter versions All rides finish back the Croft sports Centre where you will be given cake with tea or coffee and you can buy a well deserved ice cream to help you cool off PLEASE RIDE THIS EVENT FOR MACMILLAN AND GET AS MUCH SPONSORSHIP AS YOU CAN, unlike some rides we do not set a minimum level of sponsorship
