First weekend of the month means a Durham Easy Breezy ride suitable for those recently converted/returning to cycling, or more experienced riders after a short jaunt in good company. The opening of the Light hopefully means we’ve another suitable spot to ride from, to and stop at for a coffee and I’m sure we’d all like to check it out.

Our ride will take us to Finchale and back via Newton Hall and good quality off road and quiet roads. It is flattish but not a pancake as most Durham rides unfortunately are. We’ll have refreshments afterwards at The Light and a chance to have a look round. https://www.thelightdurham.org.uk/

In order for the ride to leave promptly, please be punctual so we can carry out bike checks, etc. prior to us setting off. Make sure your bike is in working condition and bring a spare tube to fit your tyres.
