Starting point

Renfrewshire
G77 5DD

Starting at the historic Mearns Kirk, this route follows the Humbie Road (B road), with some hills, to Eaglesham. We will join the B767 for a mile or so to pass through Eaglesham Cross, and then on B roads popular with local cyclists all the way to Strathaven. This is mostly rolling terrain, but there are a few steep, if short, climbs. Once we get to Strathaven, we will join the local A roads for a short time to get to the historic Common Green (market square) in the centre of town. We will follow the same route back from Strathaven to Mearns Kirk.
