Monton to Dam House

From Monton, we'll cycle along the canal to Astley where we'll cross the East Lancs road and head to Dam House. After the break, a short section of quiet roads takes us to the guided busway and on to the loopline, back to the start point

An easy going route using canal and cycle paths. Great for beginners or those getting back into cycling

The majority of the route is traffic free with just a short section of quiet roads linking the tracks

There'll be plenty of time for stops along the way and we'll have a break at Dam House where we can have a brew and a chat

Please wear a helmet and bring money for refreshments at the cafe. It's good to carry a spare inner tube and pump if you have them but don't let that put you off
