This routes makes use of roads popular with cyclists on the south side of Glasgow, East Renfrewshire and East Ayrshire. It goes through some cracking countryside via several traditional villages and towns with opportunities to stop for a coffee depending on how the group feels. It also goes over Eaglesham Moor into the village itself past the largest wind farm in Europe - where there is an additional cafe stop - if required!

This is a 38 mile route starting in Newton Mearns. It is mostly on A and some narrow B roads, although there are extensive sections of cycle lanes too. The route has a total ascent of 542.21 m and has a maximum elevation of 299.17 m.
