Penarth Marina to Caerphilly Castle

We meet at 10am at the public car park on Penarth Marina behind oyster catcher pub. We will cycle around cardiff bay across the barrage and then join the taff trail cycle path through cardiff centre to cardiff castle. Following the trail upto Caerphilly. Return via the same route.

This is a nice ride up the Taff trail to Caerphilly castle for lunch..

We will follow mainly cycle paths out of cardiff and then follow the Taff trail upto caerphilly. There are a few roads and a few hills on the way up but mostly downhill coming back.

We will stop at the visitor centre cafe for lunch.

Please bring your locks to secure bikes at the lunch stop.
