Ricky Thursdays - Pub Ride to Commonwood

This is our classic Chipperfield Loop ride. We'll ride out along Sarratt Lane and the through Chipperfield itself an along to Bucks Hill. We'll turn right to go to the Cart & Horses in Commonwood.

This will be our first Thursday evening pub ride of the season.

We'll be riding on quiet country lanes.

We'll stop at the Cart & Horses in Commonwood for a midway drink.

Helmets are compulsory on my rides. If you are coming on an evening ride please ensure that you have front and rear lights and that they are a) working and b) fully charged. Please also check your bike is roadworthy before leaving to join us this includes making sure that your tyres are adequately inflated. Bring a padlock with you. If you don’t have one buy now is a good time to buy one! I cannot stress how important it is that you have good working lights for these rides. A few days before check they are fully charged or that the batteries aren't dead. When riding in a group please do not use your lights in flashing mode as this is antisocial for your fellow riders and also can cause headaches for some people (me!!) Please do not wear all black - it is so hard to see riders in the distance in blank. Be seen - wear bright colours.
