A beautiful ride down the wooded Clyne Valley and around the sweep of Swansea Bay is a great start to any day.

The whole route is along a traffic-free section of route 4 of the National Cycle Network (NCN 4), although there are a few road crossings. It is mostly flat, with only a few gentle hills and a good tarmacked surface, so suitable for riders of all levels and all types of bike.

Although the ride is planned for attendees of the Estates Conference at the Bay Campus, it is open to all - the more the merrier. We'll be meeting up with riders from Uplands and Mumbles opposite Singleton Campus on our way past (meeting by the footbridge) - so feel free to join us there at 8:40 if you want.

All you need is a roadworthy bike (check your brakes and tyres before setting off) and a helmet.

First-timers welcome!
