Riding Through Roch Valley

Starting from the car park at Halfords on Manchester Road we pick up the cycle path that takes us over St Peter's Way and then onto the old railway viaduct at Darcy Lever. We continue through Leverhulme Park towards Bradley Fold Greenway. We will then ride past Elton Resovoir and on to the Daisyfield Greenway making our way to Bury cemetery. We cycle through the cemetery to Roch Valley Greenway. We will then follow the river arriving at Waterfold Farm for our refreshment stop.
Once refuelled we cross Rochdale Road and meander through Hoyles Park, skirting Clarence Park as we make our way back utilising both the Daisyfield Greenway and Bolton Bury Cycleway
This is a great ride with varied terrain. There will be some roads to navigate as we make our way to the various trails but we will use dedicated cycle paths where available.

Please come equipped with a spare inner tube, pump, lock, water and money for refreshments. Helmets are mandatory.
