Riding To The Duck Pond

This is a lovely destination and well worth exploring if you've not been here before and Ive been kind as there aren't any major hill climbs on this one, I promise!!

We will be meeting up at the village hall car park in Kegworth at 10.30 and after getting ourselves ready to go we will set off out of Kegworth ride over to West Leake, East Leake, Costock, Wysall and when we get to the end of the road we will be going on a busy A road, around a big roundabout and into Kinoulton.
We will then enter Hickling where there is some fabulous tea rooms to enjoy next to a lovely duck pond, it is really picturesque and well worth a few pics.

From here we will then do a loop and back onto the island where we will head for Willoughby on the Wolds, Wymeswold, Rempstone, back through West Leake and into Kegworth.

The carpark is free and if anyone is using the village hall they'll let us use the toilets too.

So!! Please make sure you bring everything you need for this ride, I always get myself ready for a ride the night before and that way I have the morning to just go over everything.

Lovely roads to a fantastic village with a duck pond

There are some main roads here but on a Thursday morning shouldn't be too busy

We will be stopping at the Old Wharf Tea rooms in Hickling where there is as promised a Duck pond

Anything necessary to make your ride more pleasurable and of course a helmet please
