Road to Wembley

This route has a distinct football theme! The Road to Wembley takes you from the Combined Counties Premier League, where Wembley FC play, to the home of national football at Wembley Stadium. On the way you'll pass through Horsenden Hill, make your way along Grand Union Canal and pass along Brent Riverside before riding up to the Olympic Way and circumnavigating the home of champions. There's a great photo opportunity (and chance for a breather!) at the Bobby Moore statue outside the ground. This ride has a total of 90 metres of climbs; we'll take these climbs at the pace of the slowest person in the group.

Please check your bike is in good working order before the ride - especially that your brakes are working & your tyres are pumped.

We usually recommend carrying a spare inner tube in case of a puncture, as changing an inner tube is faster than getting out the rubber glue.
