Sale Park Spin

Join Taz and Helen for a ride to Sale Water Park. This route takes in a mix of terrain including looplines, the Bridgewater canal towpath, tracks and trails, sections of the guided busway and some road riding. Expect a varied and scenic journey with a great blend of urban grit and peaceful green spaces. We'll take a break to refuel at the Tree Tops cafe at Sale Water Park.
Ebikes welcome however there are some steps to get bikes up so please make sure you can do this.

Please arrive 15 minutes early for a safety check. There is plenty of on street parking on Parsonage Road and on Parsonage Drive. There are no toilets at the start.
As always, helmets are a must on HRS rides. Please ensure you are fully equipped with your OWN puncture equipment i.e. 2 x inner tubes, tyre levers pump, etc.

You must be a member of Horwich Ride Social to join this ride. Membership is free, just email [email protected] for a form or get one off our website HorwichRideSocial.org. Please return it at least 24 hours before the start of the ride.

Photographs will be taken during the ride which will be shared on our social media. Please let a ride leader know if you would prefer not to appear in any of them.
