Parking can be found all around Rivington but please do not park at The Lower Barn/Go Ape as the car park will be closed when we return.
The ride will leave at 4pm so please arrive 10-15 minutes early for a bike check and ride briefing.

A late afternoon/evening ride over to the lovely village of Croston where we will stop for tea at The Westhead Chippy.

The route is all on tarmac roads apart from a few short sections on gravel bridlepaths.

There are picnic benches in a small garden at the side of the chippy where we can eat our tea.

Please note:- 1. Helmets must be worn to participate on the ride. 2. The chippy is CASH ONLY. 3. Please have both front and rear lights in case the light fades on our return. 4. The ride will only take place if the weather is dry. 5. Ensure your bike is in good working order and bring with you items to repair a puncture. This is a Horwich Ride Social ride and is open for anyone to join but you will need to fill out a participant form if you have not previously done one.
