Meet at the Heart of Hawick and pedal out onto Buccleuch Street and outwards past the High School taking a right at Martins Bridge. Pedal up on beyond Roberton, Alemoor and onto Tushielsaw, embracing the steady climb and super scenery. As you reach Tushielaw, take a left where after a mile or so, you will reach the lovely Honey Cottage for your refreshments, before returning the same way.
Please wear a helmet and gloves are advisable. Wear clothing for the weather and bring some water or anything you think you might need to keep your energy up. Please ensure your bike is in working order, your tyres are pumped up and you have spares or tools relevant to your bike. If you are using an e-bike, please ensure there is sufficient charge, and should you have a mechanical, you have a plan in place to get back to Hawick.
