Starting point

Suffolk

This ride is suitable for anyone that may not have ridden for a while, new to cycling, a solo rider that would like to join a group ride or anyone that would like a social bike ride. All welcome.

This is a predominantly flat route on roads and cycle paths. Some of the roads are quiet narrow single track lanes. It’s a 17.5 mile route with approx. 3 miles of cycle paths. We will start and finish the ride on cycle paths.
There is a cafe stop planned at the half way point in Thurston should we decide to stop for a coffee and a natter.

We will all be riding together as a group with a ‘no drop policy’. The speed will be kept to a comfortable pace for all to enjoy.

Please could everyone : wear a helmet, wear suitable clothing for riding and weather conditions, have a road worthy bicycle, inflated tyres. Bring with you : a puncture repair kit / spare inner tubes, bike pump / co2 gas canisters, drink for the journey, bike lock and money for the cafe stop.

If you have booked your place and then cannot make the ride, please cancel on the site as soon as possible to enable other people to book.

If you have any questions please feel free to get in touch.
