There will be even more signs of Spring in April so why not come along and enjoy the open air by joining this friendly group?

This ride will be a mix of quiet roads and country lanes, canal towpath, downhill and uphill as well as urban cycle paths, so quite a bit of traffic-free cycling. One part of the route will be new to us.
We will arrive at St Nicholas Place Café in Kings Norton in time for coffee or an early lunch, then will get back on the towpath almost all the way to Billesley.
It is suitable for hybrid bikes or confident road bike users.
Please make sure your bike is roadworthy and bring a spare inner tube and a lock for outside the café. Wear comfortable clothes suitable for the weather and a helmet is strongly advised.
Please bring some money to spend at the lovely little café.

The pace will be about 9-11mph. We always wait at the top of hills for those who prefer to walk.

There is the possibility of joining the ride at Whitlocks End Railway station, shortening the ride by 5 miles at the beginning ( but will add on 5 at the end!), but we will not return that way. That means it is suitable for those who know their way back home from Billesley, but some guidance will be given!
