Southport for Fish and Chips

We'll be having a gentle flat ride over to Southport from Mawdesley Village Hall leaving at 9.45am. The pace of the ride will be 10-13mph according to road/traffic conditions, but nobody will be left behind. We will head out via Hoscar, Burscough and through the quieter lanes to Southport. We’ll eat at a great chippy where you can sit indoors. The return journey will see us head along the coast before turning inland and heading through Banks, Hesketh Bank, Tarleton, Bretherton and Croston and eventually dropping back down into Mawdesley. Please ensure that you have the basic tools required to sort out a puncture with a couple of spare tubes as well. Please also make sure you are ready to ride 15 minutes before the published start time.
