Starting point

Hertfordshire
WD4 8ET

This ride is open to all, Spokes members can turn up on the day.

We leave Kings Langley and head up Rucklers Lane towards Chipperfield, where we skirt around Bovingdon and through Whelpley Hill and head into Berkhamsted. We then follow Shootersway and into Aldbury before climbing Toms Hill to Ringshall and Little Gaddesden.

Coffee & cake will be had at Frithsden vineyard, where you could even sample some of their home produced wine or fizz!

We then head back to Kings Langley via Potten End, Hemel and Nash Mills.

This is a challenging route with many hills, so you need a reasonable level of fitness.

Please dress for the weather conditions, plenty of layers, waterproof coat, gloves, ear warmers! Bring spare inner tubes and a pump in case of punctures. Bring cash for coffee and a bike lock.

If the weather is diabolical, the ride may be cancelled or the route shortened to ensure enjoyment and safety of all riders.
