Join Phil for this ride around an undulating course through picturesque villages mostly on minor roads with three hills, notably Flaunden Hill. The route is around Chorleywood Common, Chenies, Latimer, Flaunden, Chipperfield, Chandlers Cross, Croxley Green, Rickmansworth. There is a short stretch of the A404, a stretch on the Chipperfield Road and we finish down Scotsbridge Hill A412 otherwise all minor roads.

This Socially distanced Ride is limited to pre-booked (via Lets Ride) Spokes Members only due to the limit on numbers. This Spokes medium pace ride (9-11mph average) is organised by Spokes SW Herts Cycling Group.

Want to ride with us during this number restricted period? Membership is only £12 per annum, £3 for subsequent Members in the same household. You'll find details at http://www.spokesgroup.org.uk/about/. On the same website, you will also find our calendar of planned rides.

A picturesque ride with a few hills, some challenging.

All on mainly quiet roads.

No refreshment stops planned but if take away facility is open at the Aquadrome Phil will offer the opportunity of a socially distanced chat with refreshments, purchased there or the rider's own picnic, at the end of the ride.

Bring spare inner tube, pump and essential tools, hand sanitizer, drinks and refreshment. All that you need so you are self sufficient in repairing your bike, punctures etc, and do not need close distance contact or to share with the rest of the group. Use of a face covering is optional.
