Join Peter for an easy ride out on roads via Langlebury, Hunton Bridge, Kings Langley to Apsley for refreshments at The Paper Mill Pub by the canal. Return along the canal towpath.

Just 469’ of climbing, only the early climb up Grove Mill Lane to make us puff but no rush, nothing challenging.

NB: if coming by car. Cassiobury Park Car Park will be closed. Easiest street parking is probably on the Cassiobury Estate side of the park.

This Spokes slow pace ride (up to 8 mph average) is organised by Spokes SW Herts Cycling Group. If you enjoy the ride please consider joining Spokes and support our campaign for better routes for cyclists in South West Herts. You'll find details at http://www.spokesgroup.org.uk/about/. On the same website, you will also find our calendar of planned rides.

For those who are interested there will be a second ride opportunity when we get back. I will be reconnoitering, at Medium Pace a 12 mile "Bean Here" ride. From Cassiobury Park out via Kings Langley, Leavesden and Hunton Bridge to the Bean Here Cafe, return via Kings Langley and the Canal towpath.
