Starting point

HP4 2RH

Outside the village hall, Potten End
Plenty of free parking opposite the village hall.

This circular route goes through the Ashridge Estate and into Ivinghoe village, where we then loop through Marsworth before stopping at the Curiositea rooms in Ivinghoe for coffee, cake and ice cream . We explore the reservoirs and a little of the canal before joining the road at Bulbourne. We head back to the start via Aldbury and back via Little Gaddesden.

This is a hilly ride and will be led at 10-11 mph average speed.

There are a few miles on traffic free gravel tracks. Fine for road bikes so long as we don't have loads of rain the day before!

This ride is organised by Spokes SW Herts Cycling Group. If you enjoy the ride please consider joining Spokes and support our campaign for better routes for cyclists in South West Herts. You'll find details at http://www.spokesgroup.org.uk/about/. On the same website, you will also find our calendar of rides we have planned.
