This is a SPOKES MEDIUM Pace ride, average speed 9 to 11 mph, organised by SPOKES SW Herts Cycling Group led by PETER
Out via the Chalfonts and Dorney Lake. Spend an hour or two In Windsor then return via Fulmer and Gerard's Cross. We cannot ride around Dorney Lake as it is closed but will take Thames Path to Eton and Windsor.
At least 6 miles of the route is traffic free, on decent surface. About 1 mile of fast 70mph limit road with path alongside which we will use, although neglected tarmac surface.
Windsor will be very busy with tourists next week so we will lunch at Crocus Cafe, Dorney Court before riding to Windsor to join the tourists.
