Whitton Sports Centre

A circular ride in the rolling Suffolk countryside, passing through villages with thatched cottages and old country churches, and finishing up with a ride along the edge of the Gipping Valley.
this route uses some busier 'B'Roads mixed in with some more rural country lanes, communication within the group is a key feature to keeping everyone safe so please can all riders pass calls forwards or backwards. with the evenings getting dark while we are still riding it is important to have the correct lights which are fit for purpose, bright lights with a focused forward beam (100-800 lumen)are great for group rides on dark unlit country lanes but should be adjusted to an angle so as the beam lights the floor one to two bike lengths in front of your front wheel and should be run on a power setting that allows the rider to see clearly.
