Sunday Brunch with the Ponies

Join Lisa and Michelle for this steady road ride to the Stable door café starting from Bolton Road, Westhoughton, (BL5 3EJ) this will be at a nice steady paced ride along a mix of busy and quiet roads heading out through Cowling and Standish. You must be confident riding on busy main roads.
We will be stopping at the Stable door café for refreshments. (please bring cash if possible)
There is ample street parking away from houses. (there are no toilet facilities)

This is a very friendly sociable ride with a few cheeky hills, which we will tackle together.

Please arrive 15 minutes early for a bike check so we can set off promptly at 9.30.
Please wear a helmet and bring your own puncture repair kit and bike lock, this is a 30-mile ride with 1500ft elevation so make sure you bring a drink and snacks if needed.

If you have not completed a ride participant form previously for one of the HRS rides, please request one from [email protected] or download a form off the website, horwichridesocial.org and return it before the ride.
Photographs will be taken during the ride which will be shared on our social media, please let a leader know if you would prefer not to appear in any of them.
