Come and join us for a monthly morning blast whilst everyone else has a lie in! This ride will occur once a month to keep your fitness levels up whilst we move in to the autumn months. Leaving Middlebrook we head out of Horwich and up and over Sheephouse before continuing on this circular route towards Smithills, then back around to Horwich. There will be no cafe stop on this route as it is aimed to be a short, sharp, quick stamina building ride, although coffee and brunch can be consumed at the finish at a local eatery, its up to you. Helmets compulsory on this ride. Please ensure you are fully equipped with all the tools and consumables to repair your bike. Also, bike lights and drinks will be needed and perhaps a snack to consume on the hoof. There are a number of inclines on this ride which of course means some fast descents, therefore ensure you check over your bike the night before especially your brakes! The aim of this ride series is to create a base time and then try to improve on it each month.
