Sunday Social to Woodside Garden Centre

We will meet at the TLC, Hawick and thereafter pedal out of town, past the Fire Station and onto the B36359 which takes us past Horsleyhill. We'll drop down towards Denholm but turn off just before and take the back road to Ancrum. From Ancrum we cross the A68 to the junction which will take as along to the Woodside Garden Centre which do lovely cakes :) After a refreshment and catch up we will head back towards Denholm taking the Hassendean Road into Hawick, along Mansfield Road, finishing at the TLC. All roads most of you have ridden before.

A lovely social sunday ride without the pressures of losing light to the night. We will meet at the TLC, Hawick before heading out of town towards Horlseyhill, onto Ancrum and stop at the Woodside Garden Centre for a well earned cuppa. We'll ride back the route we came however taking the bottom road along Hassendean and finishing off in the town and back to TLC.

We will encounter some early morning traffic in the town and then onto quiet B roads. Most of you have ridden these roads before and they are lovely and rolling. Nothing you can't handle

We will stop at the Woodside Garden Centre for refreshments, but there is nothing to say we can't stop anytime before. This is a steady sociable ride and all are welcome to join.

Please wear helmets and be aware of the Scottish weather - it can change at anytime so be prepared. Also, we recommend you bring a puncture repair kit or spare inner tube and lights are always handy. We can never be too bright :)
