Starting from Border Ice Rink Carpark, we set off round the back of the Race Course towards Ednam but turn right for Clifton hill and over to Birgham taking the second left after to Haigsfield and following the road to the sustrans marker. We will then come down guards road to Coldstream, along the main road to the main entrance of The Hirsel where we will enjoy some refreshments before heading back to Kelso via Birgham.
