TFCC - Traffic Free Cycling Club rides start from West Drayton near the bike racks, the ride this week will be to the Ruislip Lido and Woods.

We will start West Drayton Station, and use the Celodine Route to the Ruisip Woods, into the Lido, here we will have a pit stop at either the café, before leaving the short riders behind to enjoy lunch at the Watersedge Pub.

This will be the long 40 mile ride, that will give some serious hill challenges as you climb upto Mount Vernon Hospital and then enjoy the lovely route through Moor Park Golf Club into Rickmansworth. Just when you think the hills are over, the ride will continue up avoiding the flat canal, using the Hillingdon Trail which will come out at Black Jacks, then the ride can continue up what I call the Harefield Mountain to enjoy the lovely vista from the Old Orchard Pub. Finally a bit of downhill passing the Anzac Cemetery crossing the Harvill Road, to the Uxbridge Gravel pits, and one last hill if you can handle it up to Uxbridge Golf Club.

I expect it will take 1.5 to 2hrs to get to the Lido, and after a couple of hours chilling out we will make the quickest route back via Ickenham.
