Starting point

Derbyshire
DE72 3EN

Meeting up at Elvaston Castle car park by the toilet block, this is a pay and display car park.
We will head over to Aston and in Weston on Trent we will pick up the Cloud Trail, the beginning of this trail is slightly gravelly but we will come off at the entrance to Melbourne, from there we will ride past Staunton Harold to Peggs Green, past Thringstone and just before Grace Dieu Priory we have the Bulls head where can grab a drink and a bite to eat.
You may want to take some pictures of the Priory as we ride past after our short break, from here we will ride to Belton, Long Whatton, Diseworth, Past Castle Donnington, Shardlow, Ambaston and back to car park at Elvaston.

There are a few hills on this ride, 8% being the highest one so nothing major and we always wait at the top for everyone to catch up.
Please make sure you everything you need for this ride, appropriate clothing, snacks, fluids, puncture repair kit.
