This ride takes us to Chiswick to see the Mosaic House. (https://carriereichardt.com/mosaic-house). Then, after experiencing the delights of the Chiswick roundabout, we head for Gunnersbury Park for another photo op and refreshments.

Our route includes quiet residential roads, off-road shared paths, parks, a couple of stretches of canal towpath and, hopefully, very little traffic. We head south to Alperton, Park Royal and various bits of Action (West, Central, South) before reaching our first stopping point. It's then a short hop, mostly on a dedicated cycle path, to Gunnersbury Park.

After refreshments, we head back through Ealing, Perivale, Northolt and South and West Harrow.

The route has a few hills but nothing too taxing. We won't be racing and will aim for a speed of about 8mph. We never leave anyone behind and provide plenty of support and encouragement for those challenging themselves by extending their distance.

Make sure your bike is in good working order. Use this guide: https://lcc.org.uk/advice/bike-safety-check/. Bring a spare tube, pump, tools to fix a puncture, a drink and a snack (or money to purchase).

The time for the ride is a best estimate by the Ride Leader. Sometimes this can be affected by factors such as the weather, mechanical issues, the queue at the cafe, etc. We have a policy of leaving no rider behind so, if anyone is struggling, we will adjust the speed and take rest stops if necessary.
