Starting point

Wiltshire
SN3 4SH

Leaving Sth Marston as if going to Highworth but detouring thru Sth Marston Industrial Estate. Then we pick up a cycle track, which crosses the main road a few time before the final crossing at The Rat Trap when we get on a cycle path which takes us almost all the way to Cricklade road; from there its residential roads and cycle paths through Pinehurst to the Moredon Sports Hub. The return journey is the reverse direction

Route rating

This ride is to take folk from South Marston to Moredon Sports hub for a ride on the BMX track there, have a drink and then return to South Marston. It's a fairly flat ride. You don't have to live in South Marston to join us just sign up

A large percentage of the ride is on traffic free cycle tracks, some on residential roads and wee bit at the beginning and the end on country roads

NO planned stops until we get to the Moredon Sports Hub, where you'll find the Route 45 Cafe with drinks, snacks and meal deals

Don’t forget a full water bottle with your favourite thirst quencher. For all our rides you should bring at least a spare inner tube and a pump. If your wheels are bolted-on then a spanner that fits the wheel nuts is also essential. (BMX riders please take note) Helmets are cumpulsory for children aged 16 and under. For adults they are not compulsory but most definitely recommended. You should dress appropriately for the weather, (GLOVES) and consider bringing your mobile phone along with cash or debit card for the refreshment stop. Some place’s only take card payments.

First-timers welcome!
