Tickhill Duckpond from Holmescarr

From Holmescarr we will ride through Rossington to the IPort on residential roads and the shared path past Lidl to Amazon lakes. From Amazon we will go up the limestone path towards Wadworth but turn left at the Carr Lane and turn right onto Egg Lane then across the fields to Wellingley Grange then along Wellingley Lane to Stancil Lane to stancil then along a footpath to Hopyard Lane and onto Common lane. Turn right over motorway and past the cricket ground and then straight across the road from Bawtry and through the houses to a footpath that takes you round the back of Tickhill castle to the duck pond. Returning along Wong Lane then crossing the Tickhill to Wadworth road back towards Wellingley

To Tickhill via Amazon lakes and back lanes

Most of the route is on trails and quiet roads.

We will stop to take photos and for a refreshment stop at the Duckpond.

Helmets are advisable and please bring your own drink and snack - I will bring some cake. You also should also bring a spare inner tube and tools in case of puncture.
