Tonbridge Breeze to Notcutts Garden Centre, Pembury

We will head out from Tonbridge swimming pool to the high street and take the back roads through some of the industrial and residential areas to join the A21 bike path.

The route is a steady climb out of Tonbridge with most of the elevation in the first half of the ride. We will continue on the bike path to Notcutts Garden Centre where we will stop for coffee with time to have a look around and admire some of the plants and other goodies on display. The return route is back along the bike path but will be quicker because of the downhill. The last part of our ride takes us back to Tonbridge high street but the station end this time but we turn off and continue through Tonbridge park and back to the pool.

A mainly traffic free route from Tonbridge taking us out and back to the Notcutts Garden Centre at Pembury.

The route is mainly along the A21 bike path which is traffic free. However, at the start and end of the ride we will be on the Tonbridge town roads although we try and choose the easier quieter junctions where possible.

We will stop for refreshment at the Notcutts Garden Centre which is at the halfway point in miles.

Please bring some form of payment for our refreshment stop and a suitable bike lock as the bike will be left out of view. Helmets are always recommended and a spare inner tube. Check your tyres are pumped up and the weather forecast to decide on your layers.
