Starting point

Devon
PL7 1SS

We will head out west towards the setting sun on cycle lanes through Marsh Mills towards Platinum Way via the Leigham turnoff and on Forder Valley paths. We will slowly ascend the climb of the day up to Derriford business Park and then turn left on Tavistock Road including a pause at the summit of the climb. At Crownhill we will skirt through the underpass and pick up Crownhill Road as we roll along westwards to Little Dock Lane. Turning left we descend down to and over the A38 on the flyover where we continue our descent down St Budeaux Bypass to Camels Head. It’s cracking following perimeter of the Dockyard on Wolsey Rd, Saltash Road and through Keyham and up Devonport Hill. We then veer off through Mount Wise to look over the river at those green hills of Cornwall. Following the cycle path that leads to Richmond Walk and onto the Road to Royal William Yard where we reverse course and make our passage to West Hoe and up to Maritimos for coffee and refreshments. Refreshed we trundle through the Barbican, Cattedown, Laira Bridge, Embankment and back to the start.
