Trails to Branton Secret Garden Cafe 30/08/2025

A lovely morning ride before the forecast rain in the afternoon. Note we start at 930am. This route is mainly riding along beautiful cycle paths, woodland trails and farmland trails. Some quiet roads between the trails.
Our route starts at the Sandall Beat Wood car park and proceeds around the trails of the wood and heading to trails leading to red path south of Bessacarr then through Bluebell Wood and Hatchell Wood and Black Carr Plantation to Branton Secret Garden Cafe. Our return trip takes us to Moor Plantation towards Armthorpe. We ride around the base of Armthorpe Pit Top and then back to the car park at Sandall Beat Wood.

Helmets are advisable for this ride. Bring cash/card for cafe, bike lock, tools and spares to repair a puncture etc. Most important is bring a spare inner tube and pump.

We never leave anyone behind. New riders to the group are very welcome.
