Trinity Buoy Wharf is home to London's only light house and an eclectic mix of art installations including currently this exhibition
https://www.trinitybuoywharf.com/whats-on/the-7th-john-ruskin-prize-exhibitionThis ride will follow the riverside as much as possible.
We will ride along the Waterlink Way to Greenwich and use the foot tunnel to cross the river. Following the Thames path we will eventually reach Trinity Buoy Wharf and the Orchard cafe which has a wide choice of snacks. Card payment only.
We will ride back through the Isle of Dogs and cross the river via the Greenwich foot tunnel, and return to Cator park via the Waterlink way. If the lifts are out of order, we will use the DLR to cross the river so please remember Oystercard/contactless/freedom pass just in case. (At the time of posting, the north lift is out of order)
If timings and weather conditions allow, we could return via London bridge on the C3 and C4.
Lovely views along the Thames and hardly any elevation!
Please call the leader, Jacqui Turner on 07456840924, if you have booked but there are problems on the day.
Timings and distance calculated from/to Catford bridge but it depends how long we spend at the exhibition.
