Tuesday Breeze Stevenage to Letchworth to Lower Stondon (2 pick up points see below)

Please let the leader know if you are going to start from the second pick up point at Par 3 Letchworth 10am (Outside Par 3 on Willian Way, Letchworth, SG6 2HJ)

The route will be 35 miles from Hampson Park and back and 27miles from Par 3 and back.

This is a slightly more challenging ride of around 35 miles to Lower Stondon Golf Club. We will meet at Hampson Park, Webb Rise, Stevenage SG1 5QU 9.05am for a briefing and bike check and will aim to leave by 9.15am. There is free parking at this venue and is the correct side of town to head out to this route.

The pace will be steady no one gets left behind. There are a few hills and we will wait at the top to enable everyone to ride at their own pace.

We will be taking the cycle route out from Stevenage and over to Great Wymondley to meet the Letchworth Ladies at Par 3 and will leave there at 10am. We will then follow the route out to Norton, Clifton, Shefford, Meppershall before turning to Lower Stondon. We will stop a t the golf club for refreshments before returning via Shillington, Pirton, Ickleford and Great Wymondley where ladies from Letchworth can return to par 3 and anyone else can return to Hampson Park.

Helmet, spare inner tube and pump to suit valve type, water, suitable clothing for weather conditions and card/cash for refreshments.
