From School base, we access a familiar cycleway North. Across a road to more cycleway taking us alongside then over the River Darwen, through the Capitol Centre and across the A6 Ribble Bridge to the Guild Wheel. Gently undulating alongside the Ribble the Guild Wheel leads to Brockholes.
Brockholes:A renowned North West Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve. Here be adventure playgrounds, toilets and cafe for a break (and coffee?) before we return on a similar route.
