Watford Cycle Hub: Weaving Whippy Wheeler

Right on your doorstep, this principally off-road steady route allows you to weave around Whippendell Woods and provides an introduction to off-road riding with some steep inclines and downhills that challenge some basic off-road skills of balance, gear-changing & braking control! : ) It will be a laid back, relaxed and friendly ride - so if you need to walk up the hills - that's totally fine by us - we're just happy you want to come & give mountain biking a go! : )

This is one of our 'Special Permission Rides', together with the 'Olympiads' Ride & the 'Cassiobury Park Special', where Watford Borough Council has granted Watford Cycle Hub special permission to lead rides on some paths normally reserved for walkers only. We have a limited number of times a year where we can do this, so these rides are doubly special. We will respect this Special Permission by being considerate to other Cassiobury Park & Whippendell Wood users and thank Watford Borough Council for granting us this special access. :)
