We leave Braishfield Pantry village shop and go through Michelmersh to the Bear & Ragged Staff. Crossing the A3057 then to Kimbridge, Kent's Oak and Carter's Clay. . Cross the A27 on to Dandy's Ford and West Wellow. 'Headlands cafe is just before we reach Carlos.

The route back goes past Carlos down Woodington Lane to the crossroads at Shootash. Then over the A27, down Old Salisbury Lane and back to Braishfield via Timsbury. There is a short patch of main road (A27) as we approach Timsbury. It is about a 1/4 mile.

The route out is around 11 miles, and the route back about 9 miles.
