We're All Going Lune-y: Glasson Dock for Fish & Chips
Continuing the Fish & Chip season - a new version of a real favourite taking this ride up to 62.5 miles - breaking the magic 100K.
We'll be eating Fish & Chips looking out over the River Lune estuary. This is a ride that has a gentle decline on the way there & a gentle incline back. We'll go one of two ways, either through Garstang & Winmarleigh or straight up through Scorton, which is also the way we'll come back. This destination is a real cyclists favourite & it will be a really enjoyable day out with a great group of cyclists.
Please be ready to ride by 9.45.
During this year I will be raising money for the charity Bliss that supports families and premature babies in neonatal care. If you would like to donate to this worthy cause - which would be very much appreciated - please click on the Just Giving link below.

We'll ride at a steady pace of 12 - 14 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together & have a really pleasant ride. This is a hilly ride suitable for road bikes & hybrids with road tyres. If you are unsure of your bikes suitability, please get in touch before the ride. Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, Helmet & lights checked & ready. Please ensure you have all the parts for your bike - pump, spare tube, multi tool. Your bike is your responsibility! Phone, money too. You are your responsibility!
Please aim to be ready to ride 15 mins before the ride start time, getting away on time is good for everyone. It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you.
I'm a British Cycling Ride Leader leading guided rides & I'm also a trained route planner - I enjoy my cycling & appreciate it even more when I have people to ride with. Our group is called the FC's - Friendly Cyclists, where all the Ride Leaders are trained & certified. You can read all about us & join the group here: Let us know a bit about yourself & what rides you like to do.
